I’m not one who gets into resolutions that much, but I happened across this article in Small Business Trends today I thought I’d share. The one which jumped out most at me: don’t call myself a freelancer.

The real deal is freelancers who are subject matter experts and are doing much more than just submitting work. You’re giving them your brain. Clients may not recognize (and pay you for) your expertise if you’re identifying as just another freelancer.
